My student loan interest rates are killing me! Are there any options to lower my interest rate? - student loan consolidation lowest interest rate
After college I decided I wanted all my loans in my name only (not related to my parents) so that took two consolidation loans Sallie Mae, one of my federal loans and one for individuals.
Unfortunately, I have exactly the wrong time and my federal loans have been completed in an interest rate of 6.65%! And my parents had no credit history, the best interest rate for consolidation loans was 9.75%, qualified private!
Do I have the options to reduce the interest rate on a loan?

Sallie Mae, you can request a reduction in interest rates, or you can try to combine with another company for a lower interest rate.
